Bathroom Cleaning Tips

Is your bathroom looking a little past it’s best and you need a quick way to get it shining? Yes? Well take a look at these great handy cleaning tips!

Soap Scum

All you need to do is add 3 tbsp of baking powder and ½ a cup of ammonia into 4 cups of water, and mix! Then simply scrub it over the soap scum and then shine with a SPh2ONGE cloth! (This will make the surface look brand new!)

Say Good-Bye to Mildew!

Shower curtains can build up a layer of mildew in a moist environment. To keep mildew away from your shower curtains, simply mix together one part vinegar with one part salt, and rub into the affected area, leave for two hours, then rinse!

Lemony fresh! (For that not-so fresh spot)

Is your toilet looking a little – well used? For this one, all you need to do is mix 3/4 of a cup of borax, with ¼ of a cup of lemon juice to form a paste. Rub it over the bowl of your toilet and leave for up to 2 hours. Then simply scrub it with a toilet brush and flush!

A Simple Toilet Clean!

This one is almost too easy. Just add a cup of mouthwash (you only need a cheap one!) and pour it over the toilet bowl, then give it a little bit of elbow grease with a toilet brush, then flush!

Turn on the extractor fan!

We know that they are noisy and really ruin a relaxing bath time. BUT, it is really important to turn on your extractor fan during a bath or shower as it stops the build up of moisture which leads to mould and mildew! It might be an annoying addition to your pamper routine, but it makes all the difference to your bathroom!

Time for Taps!

When it’s time to get those taps shining, just go to the bathroom cabinet! Yes you heard that right! Grab an old toothbrush from the cabinet, rub the bristles over the flesh of a lemon, and then scrub! Be sure to wipe over with your favourite SPh2ONGE cloth after.

Bathroom blinds

A classic choice of blinds in a bathroom is dust collecting venetian! Our SPh2ONGE has great qualities that lock dust in! – but how do you get between the gaps? Well, all you need to do is wrap a SPh2ONGE cloth around a pair of BBQ tongs, and then slide them over each panel!

SPh2ONGE Customer tip!

Our customers who already own a SPh2ONGE have come up with a handy bathroom tip. All you need to do is place a SPh2ONGE in the corners of your bath or shower to catch the moisture – mould be gone! Let the super absorbent powers work their magic.
